Main points to focus on when building a strong community LOCALLY and globally
Lets talk about produce, this may seem insignificant to globalization, but in reality produce is more important than you may think. In our country we go out to the store at any time in the run of the year and we immediately have any form of produce we want, in third-world countries they don't have that option. They need to grow their crops in order to eat, but here another problem; not everyone knows how to do that. Just recently countries have learned to farm from their elders who have had to do it for years. These countries citizens don't hoard their produce like we do, they share it throughout their communities. If we as can adopt this way of thinking we could decrease the number of hungry people in our country and then move onto the people around the world. We would no longer be citizens of Canada, we would be citizens of the world.
Now that we've talked food lets move onto one the most important necessities that any person can own; education. By educating citizens of developing countries it would allow them to learn how to improve their country by themselves. Education would allow students to become politicians, lawyers, doctors, and business man/women increasing the stability of the country.
If we focused on education in countries like ours we would be able to increase productivity in our society which would indirectly lead to an increase in the amount of help sent out to other countries. This would further our relationships with the countries of the world, allowing the people to become closer with each other.

With globalization comes the matter of currency. If we become more globalized we would need a currency that is accepted throughout the entire world. No more exchange rates or currency exchanges. We would have one set of currency that can be used by all people all over the world.
Another thing that would change is the business world. The businesses would no longer have to pay extreme amounts of money to export and import their goods, the businesses would save millions opening up jobs for more and more people who want to work. The sheer amount of jobs would increase exponentially until everyone had enough to support not only themselves but their family.
